Sampla (MC) Municipal Committee with population of about 21 thousand is Sampla sub district’s only municipal Committee located in Sampla sub district of Rohtak district in the state Haryana in India. Total geographical area of M.C. Sampla 7 sq km. There are 15 wards in M.C. Limit. District Head Quarter of the city is Rohtak which is 24 km away.

            Govt. vide Urban Local Bodies Department Notification No. 08/07/2007-312 dated 10/07/2007 constituted a Municipality Named M.C. Sampla after demolition of two gram panchayats named Sampla & Kheri –Sampla. Sampla is located is NH-10 between Bahadurgarh and Rohtak. Being located at a prominent route, this town is also a mini business hub for neighboring areas. The birth place of Legendary social reformer Deen Dandhu Sir Chhotu Ram is also located near this Town.
