In urban areas facilities of water supply and sewerage is only available at two corporations (Karnal and Sonipat) whereas in all other municipalities, it is being provided by PHED Department except Faridabad and Gurugram.

How to apply:

1. Citizen can apply for water connection or sewer connection or both in Municipal Corporation Karnal and Sonipat at SARAL portal (Click Here).
2. In the application form, following fields are to be filled up:

3. Type of connection (water only/sewer only/Both)
4. Do you have any Previous held Connection on the premises ?
5. Applicant Mobile Number
6. Is Previous Connection Authorized
7. Customer Id(Previous Connection)
8. Date since Unauthorized Connection is held

22. Name of Document to be attached as a proof of ownership (Conveyance Deed,Registry Deed,Allotment letter by Govt Approved Agency,Court Decree,Registered Lease Agreement,Requisition Deed,Property Register of MC)

After filling these details hit on the submit button a next screen appears to ATTACH the Annexure (Upload documents)

Upload the following documents:

After completing the process, click on save annexure button and then Click on the submit button.

New Connection Charges:-

(1) The water and Sewer Connection fee of Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 respectively shall be charged for domestic premises.

(2) The water and Sewer Connection fee of Rs. 2000 and Rs. 1000 and Rs. 1000 respectively shall be charged for Industrial, Commercial and Institutional premises.

1. The fee will be calculated by the concerned officer of the concerned Municipal Corporation on following grounds:

4. Meter testing fees
5. Penalty/charges for regularisation of unauthorised connections.
